Arrival airport: SIEM REAP INTERNATIONAL airport departure airport: INTERNATIONAL airport of PHNOM PENH – POCHENTONG, this program can follow the stay of three to six days you have chosen to visit the sites of ANGKOR. It is an extension of 8 days during which you will visit the capital, PHNOM PENH and discover daily life in the countryside, but also resorts on the South coast, on the Gulf of Thailand.

Day 1: SIEM REAP – SAMBOR IPSP KUK – PHNOM PENH

Morning: departure drive to PHNOM PENH (320 km and 5 hours by car on the direct route). You leave the main road in KAMPONG THOM, for about 30 km, to visit the temples of SAMBOR IPSP KUK (7th century). In the forest and in the center of the ancient capital of the Kingdom, you will find three groups of small temples: Prasat Sambor, Prasat Tao and Prasat Yai Nena. Afternoon: Continue to PHNOM PENH and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: PHNOM PENH

Morning: Visit the Palace ROYAL (1866) and the silver pagoda (1892), whose name is due to its ground covered by nearly 6000 silver plates massif.

All around the pagoda, you read the RAMAYANA legend through a long series of murals painted on the walls. Then visit the archaeological museum, built in 1917, which has large collections of artifacts of the lie and Angkorian period.

Afternoon: Tour of downtown with the visit of the pagodas VAT PHNOM, on a small hill and shopping in the CENTRAL market, built in the 1930s in a style typical Art deco. Late in the afternoon, you can enjoy a boat trip, from the TONLE SAP River to Mekong River, watching the sunset over the city, the floating village and fishing boats.

Day 3: PHNOM PENH – TAKEO – KAMPOT

Morning: Departure to TAKEO, about 80 km south of PHNOM PENH and 1 h 30 drive. On the road, you will visit the temples skin Yes and TA PHROM (12th century), then the temple of PHNOM CHISOR (tenth century) after climbing a flight of stairs 503 steps.
Afternoon: You leave TAKEO for a cruise from 3 hours on channels (era FUNAN, 4th and 5th centuries) which results in the ruins and the small Museum of ANGKOR BOREI, through the rice fields and farms of the ducks. Your last stop will be to the temple on the island of PHNOM DA (7th century). Return to TAKEO, you continue the road to KAMPOT in car (100 km and 2 h 30 drive). Arrival in KAMPOT and accommodation at the hotel.

N.B: The day to BOKOR mountain trip is currently not possible because the path is closed for restoration since late 2008. We it again will offer at the end of this work.

Day 4: KAMPOT – KEP morning: departure, with a local guide, for the visit of the salt fields, then rice fields, after a stop in a village of fishermen.

Next, you will visit a pepper plantation, where you’ll be explained their culture and the preparation of various types of pepper. At the end of the morning, you will discover the KOMPONG TRACH caves. It is a place of worship and meditation, since the lie, in which one enters through a short natural tunnel, to arrive in a circus beautiful rock open air. Arriving at KEP, enjoy a dinner of fresh seafood in a restaurant overlooking the sea. Afternoon: Take you to the charming island of rabbits and take the time deenjoy to the beach, the clear and warm water. Back to KEP, you will visit this old colonial seaside resort and then reach your hotel.

Day 5: KEP – SIHANOUKVILLE (125 km and 2 h 30 direct drive)

morning: departure for the visit of PHNOM CHHNORK caves. Before coming to KAMPOT, you’ll depart from the road for a 10 km track. A comfortable staircase of 200 steps gives access to the main cave temple houses a small lie. It is built around the combination of a stalactite and a stalagmite of impressive sizes.

Afternoon: Continue to SIHANOUKVILLE (also known as Kampong Som) which is divided into several heights, between the most important commercial port of Cambodia, in the East and the beautiful tropical resort in the South, with its hotels and beaches long clear water and white sand. Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 6: SIHANOUKVILLE

Day: Departure by boat, from the small wharf of Serependity Beach, to visit three paradisiacal islands, in the south-east of Sihanoukville, with lunching picnic on the beach. Snorkling equipment is available upon request.

Day 7: SIHANOUKVILLE

day: departure by car for the of REAM NATIONAL Park. Then it is a full day excursion by boat to visit the mangrove forest and bird, with lunch sanctuary picnic on the beach.

Day 8: SIHANOUKVILLE – PHNOM PENH

morning: according to the time of boarding, free time to enjoy sea, sand and Sun under the umbrella.

Afternoon: Departure to Airport International of PHNOM PENH-POCHENTONG (220 km and about 4 to 5 hours drive).
